BACH IT UP IN STYLE

Written by Guest Blogger @Bethbucher

Hey all you cool cats and kittens.

My name is Beth! I am a recently engaged, @Prept personal stylist from Indianapolis, Indiana. So many of you ladies, like myself, are probably about to endeavor towards a bachelorette party wardrobe. Where to even begin, right? I totally get it. This is your night; it has to be perfect. I decided to bring to life some outfit ideas from two totally different perspectives. My first look is what I would refer to as a romantic or traditional bride. The second look is more of an edgier-vibed bride. Both of which are so easy to accomplish and you really can’t go wrong with either of them. Let’s dig in.

For Look 1, I went with a more romantic boujee jumpsuit. The detail on the sheer sleeves followed with a detailed attached cape is honestly everything. It’s the ultimate “Look at me, I’m getting married and i have my shit together” go-to (and let’s be real—we all need that every once in a while). Pairing this jumpsuit with Badgley Mischka everything, is the obvious answer to any romantic and traditional look. All of their designs are perfectly tasteful, even down to the earrings. A subtle red lip is an obvious go-to; in this case, I went with Tom Ford. With this traditional vibe, I felt it was important to stick to that feel and keep the bridal party in all black. This obviously will allow the bride to stand out more but also keep everyone matching at the same time. Imagine going out with your babes in this look? Whimsical.

Look 2 is an edgier vibe (my personal favorite). I love the idea of a bohemian dress, but keeping it all white to maintain a little bit of that tradition. My favorite part of this look is the denim jackets. I mean, COME ON. Actual perfection. The letters, the tassels, the vibe, I can’t get enough. It’s as if Coachella is hosting the wedding. This clutch is something I recently found out about through another Prept stylist (thanks Amanda). It is by a brand named Kayu and can be customized with your new initials. Um, yes please. I included the blush toned one, but it can also come in cream and other patterns as well. I love the boujee touch it gives this simple outfit. Black booties for the bride because, why not? It’s a vibe. As for the bridal party, I think the satin slip dresses, whether they be long or short, look so sexy being paired with the denim jackets and white booties. Obsessed. The lip color I chose for this look has been my summer staple, Pillow Talk by Charlotte Tilbury. Subtle but put together.
