Save the dates: A pretty way to remind guests that an open bar (I mean exchange of vows) will be occurring, and they better be there. You know this piece of paper will be showcased on the mantel, taped on the fridge, and judged by all visitors to step foot in that house. This is your time to stand out from the dozen others that have taken residence on this shared counter space; to make onlookers realize that this invite isn’t merely a piece of paper, but rather a look into what’s to come. It’s a glimpse into your wedding theme, your love for one another, and of course—that open bar.

Having confidence in this first piece of mail is key to managing your bridezilla tendencies. Even more important is keeping them at a reasonable cost, considering your growing list of vendors and new “Must-Have’s” that you got off Pinterest late last night.

For this reason, we went with Minted. We used a photo taken from our engagement shoot (also a trial for bridal hair/makeup), and selected from one of their HUNDREDS of template options. From there, it was easy to customize the wording, details, format, and even stamps.

Minted even comes with pre-addressed envelopes, and when I emailed in stating I had made a mistake on a few of them, they immediately mailed new ones (free of charge) with the corrected information. HIGHLY recommend for save the dates. It was an easy, efficient, and cheap way to get our faces on guests fridges.
